As she worked on the funding packets, Susan shared some great resources for students who are interested in building electronic projects and writing code for them. Two resources she shared are the SparkFun Inventor's Kit and Library and S2TEM Centers SC. I know the GEM Lab students at RMS will get into these resources. The MIT Lab students will probably enjoy some of it, too.
As it stands, Ryan and I will be meeting this week to talk about ways we can collaborate with each other and the students of MVAD @ RMS. I'd love to set up a table or space to share MVAD student projects at iMAGINE Upstate in the Spring. When I spoke with Ben Riddle, we even brainstormed a pop-up MakerSpace for teens during that weekend.
